We had classes this morning and preaching again this evening. It has been a good meeting!

This afternoon we were finally able to get our phone going again. We have been out of communication for a good 3 weeks now. Our computer got some kind of virus and all of our emails have been blocked. Since we have been in town (Brad has internet) we have been working on getting things fixed. I’m teaching my classes this week on the importance and “how to’s” of youth work. It’s a subject very close to my heart and it is something often neglected here, in New Guinea.

Kirsten and Deborah went to the bank today to pay for Drew and Robert’s visa extensions. They had to wait 1 1/2 hours in line. That was after being allowed to just walk in and avoiding the line of 100 people outside. They were thankful to have avoided that, at least!

Camp finished officially this morning. Prizes were handed out for the winning team and everyone headed back to their homes.

I went with Brad, Andrew Garcia (who is here visiting Brad), and Matt Allen to go take some video of Matt’s plane. It sure was neat to be up flying around in the old training area, where I first earned my pilot’s license. Even though I wasn’t the one actually flying I still enjoyed it very much!

Today was the last full day of kids camp. This evening, after I preached, we had a time of invitation. There were many who came forward to be dealt with. Amber was able to lead 2 girls to the Lord. She was very excited! Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone from Digicel Pacific

Camp started today with a bang! We are estimating that there are about 300 kids here. Amber is helping as a leader while the boys are campers. Drew and Robert are both leaders as well.
